Vehicle Anti-theft System Decoder This Lockcraft V.A.T.S. Decoder makes diagnosing system failuers, servicing the column, and duplicating VATS keys a snap. This diagnostic tool is totally portable and powered by a 9 volt battery (not included). It accepts all versions of the GM VATS key and provides quick, accurate identification of the correct resistor code. Long wire leads provide for easier connection in cramped auto interiors. The Lockcraft Decoder is housed in a sturdy compact steel case, complete with concise “on the job” instructions on the inside lid. The Decoder performs 4 basic functions: -Identifies correct V.A.T.S. key blank from customer’s original. -Decodes correct V.A.T.S. blank from the vehicle (if original key is lost). -Diagnose steering column connection problems. -Diagnose V.A.T.S. computer problems.
