The TaylorMade TP5x Golf Balls 2019 feature a new speed layer system with HFX.  HFX is comprised of 4 increasingly stiff layers that improve energy transfer through the ball  by acting like a spring.  The ball builds energy when compressed and rebounds quickly to generate more ball speed. 

The TP5x’s Tri-Fast XL low compression core increases launch angle and reduces drag, while the softer cast urethane cover increases groove interaction for more greenside spin.

The new soft-tough cover is made from an improved urethane compound and paint formulation for added cover durability.
